A one-day conference in honour of Professor Jacquie L’Etang, one of the major critical scholars in our field since the early 1990s. The conference, organised by the Organisational and Strategic Communication Section of ECREA, will take place on November 13-14, 2017, at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
The conference aims to open up questions of how histories are put to use by people in different ways in order to explore how the past is constructed from the present; how the present is always historical, and how both past and present power imagined futures.
Abstracts are welcomed until June 15, 2017. Check the Call for Papers for the sub-themes and the abstract requirements. For more info, please email a member of the organising committee: Lee Edwards (l.m.s.edwards@leeds.ac.uk), Øyvind Ihlen (oyvind.ihlen@media.uio.no), Magda Pieczka (mpieczka@qmu.ac.uk), Ian Somerville (ijas1@leicester.ac.uk).
