When EUPRERA gives awards, a great deal of attention is paid to setting the criteria and carrying out the judging because we are keenly aware that our choices of winners will say a lot about us as an organisation. So our winners not only promote themselves and their institutions but their work celebrates the excellence and innovation in learning and research that EUPRERA stands for.

At our annual congress, the following prizes are awarded:

  • EUPRERA PhD Award for Excellent Doctoral Theses
Launched in 2015, this bi-annual award aims to honour academic excellence in the fields of PR and communication management. More info
  • EUPRERA Master Thesis Award for Excellence
Starting from 1995, with this award EUPRERA yearly honours and rewards master theses (MSc, MA and MPhil theses) that make a significant professional/ practical or academic contribution to the field of PR in Europe. More info
  • EUPRERA Best Paper Award
Starting from 2012, at its annual congress, EUPRERA awards the three papers with the highest rankings in a two-stage, blind peer-review process performed by a Scientific Committee of renowned international scholars. All papers submitted and presented at the congress are eligible.
  • EUPRERA Best Reviewer Award
Since the work of the reviewers is an essential contribution to the quality and the success of the annual congress, starting from 2015 EUPRERA awards the individual who has contributed careful, thorough and useful reviews. The winner is selected not only on the basis of the work done, but also considering evaluations expressed by authors.
