BledCom, International Conference for Public Relations, which will be held on 6 and 7 July for the 19th consecutive year, will be substantively updated and upgraded with practical work. The programme, due to its scientific research character, will not interest only academics, but will also attract those who are interested in the practical point of view and the applicability of research in practice.

Therefore, this year for the first time, the conference is divided into two parts: Bledcom Academic and Bledcom Corporate. Bledcom Corporate will also attract those who are interested in the practical point of view and the applicability of research in practice.

The theme of this year's Corporate BledCom will focus on public trust in the organization, which is still at a very low level. Namely, the main topic of Bledcom Corporate is Public Trust in Organizations and the Role of Professionals in the Field of Communication. Therefore, the topic is very interesting for managers as well as other key decision-makers in companies, as we are facing with a very low level of trust in organizations and their leaders in Slovenia and around the world.

One of the leading representatives of strategic communications in the U.S. Jerry Swerling, who will also be one of the speakers at this year's BledCom, claims that there has to be consistency in the way we behave and the way we communicate. These and similar topics will be discussed also by the world-established professionals in the field of communication James E. Grunig and Larissa Grunig from the University of Maryland, professor Ansgar Zerfass, PhD, a lecturer and researcher of communication management at the University of Leipzig, the leading institution for communication studies in Germany, as well as national and foreign managers.

In addition to corporate part of the conference, there will traditionally academic part, Bledcom Academic, will also take place and this years leading theme of this part is Public Relations and Communication Governance: State of the Profession.

Registrations for the conference are possible on the website www.bledcom.com, where you can also read more about the conference and speakers.
