BledCom Symposium - 28.01.2013
Abstrac submission postponed to February 15th 2013
You still have time to submit the abstract of your paper and panel proposal for the 20th BledCom Symposium on the theme "Trust and New Realities". First set on February 1, 2013, the deadline is now prolonged to February 15, 2013.
BledCom 2013, taking place in Slovenia on June 14 and June 15, 2013 at Bled, will commemorate 20 years of debate and discussion and invites papers reflecting on, and addressing development in, any of the 19 themes from past BledCom symposiums: www.bledcom.com.
The program committee invites 500 – 800 word abstracts, from academics and practitioners, addressing any, or a combination, of these themes. Papers can address the current relevance of any past theme to the field, the progress (or lack thereof) seen in the field vis-à-vis a particular theme, etc. Papers may be conceptual or based on empirical data (using quantitative and qualitative methodologies). Among others, BledCom organizers invite attempts to analyse outcomes of previous BledCom proceedings or publications as also longitudinal studies addressing any of the 19 topics particularly given the reflective nature of this year’s theme. Interest could be raised also by papers that analyse the cumulative effects of past Bled themes.
Panel Proposals are also welcome. The proposal should describe the title and focus of the panel, name of the chair of the panel, and names of every member of the panel and title or focus of each presentation.
Abstracts of 500-800 words are to be submitted via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by February 15, 2013. Submitted abstracts will undergo a blind peer review, and authors will be notified of the results by the end of March. Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit about 25 double-spaced pages long papers until May 1, 2013. Panel Proposals for BledCom 2013 are also to be submitted by February 15, 2013.
