What are public affairs strategists, lobbyists and interest groups doing to politics?
The Journal of Public Affairs - in collaboration with the UK Political Studies Association, the, UK Academy of Marketing, the International Communications Association and the Journal of Political Marketing – is supporting this conference and issuing a call for papers for a specialist track on public affairs.
In a break with tradition, the 2013 conference aims to bring together four distinct, but significantly interrelated, research and practitioner communities – those of political science, political communication, political marketing and public affairs – for the purposes of engaging in inter-disciplinary debates related to the role, practice and impact of marketing in contemporary politics.
