European Communication Monitor 2014 survey launched - 01.03.2014
The largest international poll on communications trends

March 1, 2014 – Today, Euprera is launching its annual poll on the status and future of strategic communication. Communication professionals across Europe are invited to participate in the survey, which is available at www.communicationmonitor.eu until the end of March.

This renowned survey is conducted by 11 leading universities in cooperation with the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) and is sponsored by Ketchum, one of the leading communication consultancies in Europe and worldwide.

The European Communication Monitor 2014 will focus on the current challenges and future trends for the profession: How do communication professionals handle the digital flow? How are they engaged in networking on- and offline? What role does mentoring play in this regard? How should leadership be communicated? What are the practices, opportunities and challenges of mobile communication? Does the gender shift in public relations affect the profession? What are characteristics of excellent communication departments? Do practices differ across countries and various types of organisations?

Participants will be able to answer these and many other questions and share their experiences to build a concise picture of the growing discipline. Every participant will receive a full report of the results and be entered in a prize draw for 5 Lomography cameras – the stylish way to shoot photos for creative people.

With more than 2,700 participants from 43 countries in the 2013 edition, the annual European Communication Monitor is the largest empirical survey in communication management and public relations worldwide. The study is undertaken for scientific purposes. Participants will remain anonymous and the data will be reviewed by the academic research team. International and country-specific results will be published in the summer.
