European Communication Monitor 2015 launched - 02.03.2015
Survey invites respondents to share insights and experiences
March 1, 2015 – The European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA) has launched its annual poll on the status and future of strategic communication. Communication professionals across Europe are invited to participate in the survey, which is available at www.communicationmonitor.eu until the end of March.
The European Communication Monitor is led by professors from renowned universities within the framework of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA) together with the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD), supported by Prime Research International, a global leader in communication research.
The European Communication Monitor, now in its ninth year, addresses topics such as blurring boundaries between public relations and marketing, strategies for listening and identifying stakeholder needs, measurement and reporting, collaboration between clients and agencies, and the future relevance of partnering with mass media and journalists in a changing world. It will identify characteristics of excellent communication de-partments as well as commonalities and differences across Europe. Country-to-country comparisons and benchmarks of different types of organisations (private and joint-stock companies, non-profit, governmental, agencies, etc.) will make the results relevant for everybody in the field.
Participants will be able to answer these and many other topics and share their experiences to build a concise picture of the growing discipline. Every participant will receive a full report of the results and be entered in a prize draw for 5 stylish Pebble smart watches – compatible with Apple and Android smartphones.
With more than 2,750 participants from 42 countries in the 2014 edition, the annual European Communication Monitor is the largest empirical survey in communication management and public relations worldwide. The study is undertaken for scientific purposes. Participants will remain anonymous. Results will be presented at the European Communications Summit in Brussels in late June 2015 and at conferences worldwide thereafter.
