Women in PR in Europe project - 27.03.2015
New team members needed
For several years, EUPRERA has supported the project "Women in Public Relations in Europe", whose members have conducted research about gender issues among students and academics. Last summer, with funding from the British Council/EU, The Women in PR in Europe Erasmus Intensive Programme was hosted by Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, together with partners Istanbul University and Ludwig Maximilian University.
The Women in PR project is now ready for a new focus and is looking for members, both men and women, who would like to participate in this work. There are a number of possible activities for the project to pursue: establishing an online resource for research about gender and public relations; creating an oral history of women in the profession from across Europe; conducting research into the challenges facing women in PR and what they are doing to meet those challenges; understanding the impact of feminization on the PR profession, and there are many other possibilities.
Anyone interested in joining the project can contact Gloria Walker, project leader, at email@example.com.
Anyone interested in other research projects or willing to propose his/her own project, can find all details in the EUPRERA website, projects section.
