The Stockholm Accords June 2010
Dear members, dear colleagues,
I want to draw again your attention to the Stockholm Accords: the final version, presented at the World PR Forum on June 14-15 in Stockholm, is now available.
The Forum was a memorable event in many ways, and if you missed it, you can have a look at the presentations on the webcast and at the slides on Slideshare and read the final version of the Stockholm Accords.
I’m sure the Accords will help each of us in our professional and research activity, as well as in our educational activity.
I hope we’ll have the opportunity to discuss the contents of the Accords also during our next congress: see you on September 23-14 in Jyväskylä!

Dear members May 2010
Dear members, dear colleagues,
I want to draw your attention to the Stockholm Accords, that will be presented on June 14-15, 2010 at the World PR Forum in Stockholm.
You will find a semifinal draft of the Accords on the World PR Forum website and you are invited to contribute by sending your comments.
As you probably know, the Stockholm Accords aim to articulate and establish the role of PR in communicative organizations in the context of a rapidly evolving digital and value network society.
The Stockholm Accords will result in guidelines and operational principles related to six professional areas, where PR and communication are supposed to add value for the organization.
The six areas are:
- governance - management - external communication - internal communication - coordination of int. and ext. communication - sustainability
So far, the current version of the Stockholm Accords is the result of a collaborative effort of 59 leaders of the global public relations profession from 20 countries.
I warmly invite you to participate both by sending your contributions to the Stockholm Accords blog by June 11, and by coming to Stockholm on June 14-15 at the World PR Forum, where the final version of the Accords will be discussed and released.
I hope to meet you at the Forum, where I myself have been invited to make a contribution on behalf of Euprera.

Letter, start of term, January 2010
Dear members,
I start my term as president at an exciting and important time for Euprera. A great deal of work has been done and I want to thank Sue Wolstenholme and Anne-Marie Cotton for their dedication in managing a very delicate transition for Euprera in the last two years.
Euprera has a very clear mission – create and disseminate innovation – and has now an organizational structure suited to it – a larger Board of Directors and quite a number of project energisers.
We now have the responsibility to improve what our predecessors started, by encouraging the development of innovative research and education models as well as their promotion and dissemination.
I’m sure that we all feel now involved and inspired to do our best to make our association an even more interesting, useful and exciting place to be.
