Job positions as Lecturers in Amsterdam

The Department of Communication Science of the University of Amsterdam is looking for several lecturers (teaching-only) in Corporate Communication for all aspects of our program, including methods courses.

The Corporate Communication Group is one of the four program groups in the Department of Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. The CorpCom Group focuses on the strategic communication of organisations in the issue arenas of today’s (digital) society and the consequences thereof for employees, other sociopolitical and economic actors (like politicians and journalists), and the general public. Important themes within the teaching of the program group include: legitimacy and visibility of public and private organisations, AI and other digital innovations within organisations, diversity, sustainability, and mediatisation.

Example of courses taught within the groups are: “Organisations, media and society” and “Strategic communication”,  “Organisational behaviour and communication”, “Climate change communication”,  “Corporate social responsibility (CSR) Communication”, “Public relations, media and the public”, and “Shaping society: How organisations and the media influence public issues”

The offer  is a teaching-only position, in which lecturers spend all their time on teaching and teaching-related tasks. PhD candidates in their final phase are explicitly encouraged to apply.

Job opportunity as Assistant Professor in Norway

PhD position at University of Fribourg

The Department of Media and Communication of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland,  is looking for a PhD candidate in Public Relations/ International Organizational Communication/ Public Diplomacy.

Some of the research topic may cover how organizations and nation states face the challenges of digitization (e.g. artificial intelligence and social media), what impact these have on reputation and what are the communication challenges of sustainability. The person will work under Prof. Diana Ingenhoff supervision and should have knowledge of both English and German language as basic requirments.

Lecturer vacancy in Corporate Communication in Rotterdam

The Department of Media and Communication at Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, is offering a temporary vacancy for one Lecturer in Organizational and Corporate Communication.

The successful candidate is expected to perform teaching and supervising tasks for the International Bachelor’s program in Communication and Media (IBCoM) and the master in Media and Business. The vacancy is aimed for a candidate with knowledge and expertise in the field of organizational communication, strategic communication, employee/internal communication, and/or intercultural communication in businesses.

The employment starts on August 22, 2022. The position concerns a temporary contract which will be running for 12 months until August 21, 2023. After this period, an extension is possible.
