BledCom 2023 Proceedings
All papers presented at the jubilee 30^th edition of the Bledcom symposium (except those that will be chosen for publication in the special issue of Corporate Communications) are eligible for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Important information:

Opening date for manuscripts submissions: September 16, 2023
Full papers should not exceed 6.000 words, including charts, footnotes, graphs, references, tables, and bibliography

2023 IPRA Golden World Awards – waiting for the winners

The IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence (GWA): the world’s most prestigious PR awards scheme, announces a total of 70 winners for 2023. A number of entries tackled emerging issues such as cryptocurrency, influencer management and virtual reality.

The GWA jury of experts comprised judges from all over the world including Austria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, The Philippines, the USA and the UK.

This year’s entries cover multiple subjects with a notable demonstration of creativity from all around the world.

Along with the Global Contribution Award for PR with an objective of meeting one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, the Grand Prix will be announced at the GWA Gala on 20 October in Barcelona.

XVI EUPRERA PhD Seminar – September 18-20, 2023

The EUPRERA PhD seminar, running successfully since 2007, is specifically designed for early/mid-stage PhD-students in public relations, organizational communication, and/or strategic communication.

An immersive 3-day experience, where all participant can present their ongoing work, train their presentation and feedback skills and get guidance from experts and peers. First-hand advice on publication strategies and how to pursue an academic career are an added-value of our seminar.

Participants will be PhD students from across Europe (and beyond), thus being a valuable opportunity to establish a network for the future.

To guarantee a high level networking, the seminar is limited to 10 participants. Priority is based on the application date.
Deadline for application is June 30.
The seminar will be hosted by the Charles University Chalet in Pec pod Sněžkou in the amazing landscape of Krkonoše, the Czech highest mountains.

Communications Trend Radar: five trends for 2023

The Academic Society for Management & Communication presents the new edition of the Communications Trend Radar.

For 2023, five key trends are identified: State Revival; Scarcity Management; Unimagination; Augmented Workflows; Parallel Worlds.

The Communications Trend Radar primarily observes changes in the areas of society, management, and technology. Launched by the Academic Society for Management & Communication in 2020, this multi-year study is led by prof. Ansgar Zerfass from Leipzig University and prof. Stefan Stieglitz from University of Duisburg-Essen.
