Agility has become one of the most discussed management concepts of our time. But many communicators are still sceptical and struggle with the trend towards more flexibility, dynamism and flatter hierarchies. In order to support communicators in their endeavour to become more agile, the Academic Society for Management & Communication launched a research project led by Ansgar Zerfaß at Leipzig University.

The key findings have been published in the publication, aimed at practitioners and is available free of charge, Fast and Flexible: Corporate communications in agile organizations. It is part of the Communication Insights series, which summarizes the current state of research and presents our empirical results. Insights from science are complemented by best practices from communication experts as well as recommendations for further reading.
