We are pleased to announce the launch of a new, bilingual Italian and English platform of international scholarship and practice – Authentic Glow Worms. This archive is dedicated to the work and thought of Toni Muzi Falconi, exploring the ideas that have defined his six decades in public relations.

Honouring a Global Pioneer

Toni Muzi Falconi is an emblematic figure in global public relations, as well as a founding figure and former Congress Organiser of EUPRERA. As the founder and long-serving president of Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana (FERPI) and the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, he was a key architect of the Stockholm Accords and the Melbourne Mandate. Throughout his career, he has consistently championed the idea that public relations is fundamentally about the ethical governance of relationships rather than the mere production of messages.

The Three Pillars

The Authentic Glow Worms collection gathers contributions from across the globe, organised around three core themes representing the foundations of his contribution to PR theory and practice: Listening, Relationship, and Change. Scholars and practitioners worldwide were invited to engage with these themes through reflections, case studies, theoretical frameworks, and professional experiences.

This platform was created to foster an ongoing global conversation and provides a practical resource for the discipline. It serves as a reference for how organisations listen, build ethical relationships, and adapt their communication practices to a changing world.
