On May 21 from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm CEST, the ECM21 Webinar will see the launch of the 15th annual edition of the largest survey on strategic communication worldwide.  The results will be discussed in an interactive webinar with members of the research team and senior representatives from the communications field.

Themes emerging from this year’s data include CommTech and the digital needs, uses and limitations for practitioners as well as exploring the wider strategies for managing digital infrastructures.

We have all experienced an extraordinary year professionally and personally with regards to our work and working environments and in this context the panel will also hear findings on the current and future embedding of video-conferencing in communications and in communication practitioners’ lives.

The final section of the webinar will explore the broader implications of other findings from this year’s study to build understanding of the future roles of communicators. What will they look like? What knowledge, skills and competencies will be required to fulfil them? Who will advise the boss today and in the future?
