The fully virtual 28th edition of the annual International Public Relations Research Symposium BledCom will be held on July 2 and 3, 2021, the main theme is Public Relations, Public Risk and Crisis Communication.

Programme

Conference program will feature 14 Paper Sessions and 6 Parallel Panel Sessions. The opening session will see the welcome address by Monika Kalin Golob, Professor and Dean of the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences (Slovenia) and the speeches on:

• Statement of communication of Covid-19 pandemic, Ángeles Moreno, Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Group of Advances Studies in Communication (Spain) & President EUPRERA. This Statement has been launched by EUPRERA with the support of other 12 international bodies.
• International Declaration of Communications Professionals and Researchers for a Healthier, Viable, Better World, Solange Tremblay, Director & Lead Author, INTERDECOM & President, SUSTAINABILITY|COMMUNICATION Group (Canada). This Declaration has been undersigned by EUPRERA, too.

Participation

The conference program will facilitate live presentations and discussions spread over both days of the fully virtual BledCom 2021. Besides, considering the different timezones, the entire conference will be recorded and registered participants will be able to re-watch it (or watch the specific program contents) from July 5 to July 15, 2021.

BledCom 2021 will be moderated by the members of the Programme Committee Dejan Verčič, Ana Tkalac Verčič and Krishnamurthy Sriramesh. The Participants of BledCom 2021 will be able to pose questions via Chat on the Confiva platform.

Publications

BledCom 2021 Proceedings will be published by the end of October 2021. Full papers not exceeding 6.000 words are due by September 16, 2021. Please note that publishing your paper in BledCom 2021 Proceedings will not prohibit you from submitting your work for consideration by any journal of your choice.
