Global Alliance Student & Young Practitioner Month + IMPACT Convention

November 2021 is the Global Alliance Student & Young Practitioner Month. Through this initiative, Global Alliance wants not only to give the students and young practitioners access to activities that will expand their knowledge and their networks but in the process, also help them develop greater appreciation of the profession and a deeper understanding of the important role that they will play once they join the industry.

The resources of the Special Month will include
the latest winning theses of the EUPRERA Master and Doctoral awards.

Besides, from November 29 to December 3 it will be hold IMPACT: The Global Youth Public Relations & Communications Convention (programme here below) as part of the Student and Young Practitioners Month activities. This globally attended event will gather thought leaders who will tackle diverse PR & communications topics. Discussions will involve many professionals and aspiring practitioners from North America to Asia, the Middle East to Latin America, and Africa to Europe.

CRISIS6 – YECREA Graduate Student/PhD Workshop, applications by May 31

All Young Scholars are invited to apply for the comprehensive YECREA Graduate Student/PhD Workshop until May 31. The workshop is organised within ECREA’s Crisis Communication Section / 6th International Crisis Communication Conference that will take place in Leeds on October 3-5.

The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for doctoral students whose Ph.D. and research interest is related to the wide and interdisciplinary field of Crisis Communication. The cost, inclusive of a simulation or social media workshop, is £80. This will include lunches, tea, and snacks throughout the two days as well as any materials for the workshop.

PhD students are welcomed here!

EUPRERA always welcomes young generations and offers two special opportunities to doctoral students from all around the world.
Don’t miss the deadline on August 21 to apply for our yearly PhD Seminar, this year to be held in Aarhus, Denmark, on September 25-27. The aim of the seminar is to provide an international setting where doctoral students within public relations and strategic communication can present their ongoing work, get feedback from experts and peers and establish a valuable network for the future.
Attendants of the 2017 seminar in London described this experience as “really helpful and I’ve also got some clear idea for my future works” and “a chance to get input from someone with different perspectives and ideas on how to continue my work”. More details here.
And after you’ll have defended your PhD thesis? Why not applying for the EUPRERA PhD Award for Excellent Doctoral Thesis?! This is a biannual prize and the next deadline for applications is on March 15, 2019. More info here.
