EUPRERA is delighted to announce that the 28th EUPRERA Annual Congress will take place in Leipzig, Germany, from 15–18 September 2027, hosted by Leipzig University, Institute of Communication and Media Studies.

Founded in 1409, Leipzig University is one of Europe’s oldest universities and one of Germany’s leading research institutions. The Institute of Communication and Media Studies is internationally recognised for its contributions to communication management research and education, making Leipzig an excellent setting for the EUPRERA community to gather in 2027.

The local organising committee is chaired by Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfaß and includes Prof. Dr. Christian P. Hoffmann, Prof. Dr. Cornelia Wolf, Prof. Dr. Alexander Godulla, and Cornelia Böhland.

Located in the heart of Europe, Leipzig combines a rich academic tradition with a vibrant cultural scene and has become a leading hub for innovation, publishing, media and creative industries. Congress participants can look forward to a welcoming and walkable city, outstanding academic exchange, and numerous opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the world.
